You might have a small garden, but with the right spacing, care and attention your small garden plot can feed both you and your neighbors without a ton of food waste. Come along on my journey and I’ll show you some ideas that might work for your space.
Finding the space to grow vegetables and flowers is easy once you figure out how you enjoy your yard, deck, patio or small plot. With a bit of thought you’ll have veggies, flowers, water for bees and birds and so much more.
A bullfrog might even sing to you at night – who knows?

Pansies, Daddy-o!

A variety of seeds will help you move from strictly transplanting plants from garden shops to planting seedlings in cold February. It gets you a bit more excited watching these little seedlings literally take root. Give it a try sometime. Hopeful anticipation I call it!

Cucumbers, the summer staple

Whether it’s as garnish hanging out with it’s friends the orange pepper, snappy celery, bright radishes or maybe the cucumbers are solo as a side salad.
